无处不在的互联网正在改变大家的生活。网上购物、网络游戏、网聊好像已经是青年日常不可或缺的部分，退休的大家也乐不可支地在网上炒股、找信息。过去大家以为需要要面对面才能完成的事情也正在向互联网靠拢，譬如行政办公、课堂，甚至音乐会。今天大家要说的，就是已经在不少地方推行的webucation（互联网教育）。
Obviously enough, webucation is education provided over the World Wide Web, a concept also sometimes called e-education. It refers to various ways of using the Internet to contribute to learning at a distance, in particular for bringing education to groups not previously1 well served. But it also includes school management systems, educational software, and ways to wire the classroom.
非常明显，webucation（互联网教育）就是通过万维网提供的教育，有时也叫做e-education（电子教育），指借助网络通过各种渠道提供远程教育，尤指为那些之前未能遭到足够教育的人群提供的教育。webucation同时还包含学校管理体系、学习软件与教室互联网化的办法。
Webucation will be big, but will it be profitable? After all, the public has grown accustomed to getting information for free on the Web.
